Abstract of the Disclosure A chuck having a pair of opposed jaws reciprocable toward and away from each other to grip and release a workpiece and also rotatable incrementally about their axis of reciprocation to rotatably index a workpiece gripped by the jaws. The jaws are actuated by two axially reciprocable drawbars through two sets of cams, one set for reciprocating the jaws and the other for rotating them.
