An indicator device for indicating the position of the axle frame of a truck bogey as it moves along the trailer frame rail of a transport truck trailer comprises a housing, and a mount for mounting the indicator device on a trailer frame rail. A sensor is for detecting the presence of an axle frame moving adjacent the trailer frame rail and generating a first signal corresponding thereto. Detector circuitry is for receiving first signal from the sensor and generating an alarm signal corresponding thereto. There is also a light or a buzzer that act as an indicator for receiving the alarm signal from the detector circuitry and presenting an alarm corresponding thereto.
