ABSTRACT An indicator for use with electrical power dissipating devices and a source of line voltage for indicating firstly the presence of line voltage and secondly, whether or not the electrical power dissipating device is drawing current from the source of line voltage, the indicator comprising a first current path connected across the source of line voltage, the current path including a first LED for indicating the presence of line voltage, a second current path connected in series between the source of line voltage and the power dissipating device, and means for diverting the second current path through a second LED for indicating whether or not the electrical power dissipating device is drawing current from the source of line voltage.
