ABSTRACT This invention presents a simple and rapid single step, indirect assay for the detection of specific antibodies in a sample. The test utilizes a three zone chromatographic device assay wherein the three zones are: a biotinylated antigen zone, containing antigens conjugated with biotin; a detector zone containing antibiotin antibody attached to detection particulates; and a capture zone, containing antigen or antigen analog bound to the chromatographic matrix.
