The present invention relates to individual layered structures for use in a disposable absorbent article comprising a particulate material contained between containing layers, at least one of the layers being permeable to liquids. The individual layered structure is cut from a larger structure and is joined along at least along part of the cut, and further has end surfaces along said cuts. The individual layered structure comprises at least one patch of material applied along at least part of the end surfaces, wherein the at least one patch of material providing the containing layers with joining means in the at least part of the end surfaces where it is applied. The invention further relates to a process for manufacturing the individual layered structures by cutting them from a larger structure, and then providing them with at least one patch of material applied along at least part of the end surfaces formed along the cut.
Cette invention concerne des structures stratifiées individuelles qui peuvent être utilisées dans un article absorbant jetable, et qui comprennent une matière particulaire disposée entre des couches de contention, l'une au moins de ces couches étant perméable aux liquides. Cette structure stratifiée individuelle est découpée dans une structure de plus grande taille, puis jointe le long d'une partie au moins de la découpe, des surfaces d'extrémités étant ensuite formées le long de ces découpes. La structure stratifiée individuelle comprend au moins une pièce de tissu appliquée le long d'une partie au moins des surfaces d'extrémité, cette pièce servant de moyen de jonction des couches de contention dans la partie au moins des surfaces d'extrémité où elle est appliquée. Cette invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication de structures stratifiées individuelles, lequel consiste à les découper dans une structure de plus grande taille, puis à leur appliquer au moins une pièce de tissu le long d'une partie au moins des surfaces d'extrémité formées le long de la découpe.
