The invention relates to an individual working or service table (1) providing comfort to a person sitting on a sofa or the like or an armchair or a wheelchair with armrests or even sitting on the floor. The table includes a working or service plate to be placed horizontally above the lap of a person in the abovementioned sitting position, and two armrests provided on either side of the working or service plate. Two respective side portions (3) are also connected to the plate and define an extension on the side of where the person is sitting, said side portions (3) forming downward returns, when considering the installation position, which can be positioned on either side of the sitting person, said side portions defining the armrests of the individual table at the upper surface and, at the base thereof, a stable bearing on the surface of the sitting area of the sofa or the like, on the armrests of the armchair or wheelchair or on the floor depending on the place where the person is sitting, the waist of the sitting person being enclosed by the plate portion and the side portions of the individual table.
L'invention porte sur une table individuelle (1) de travail ou de service procurant un confort pour une personne assise dans un canapé ou similaire ou un fauteuil ou fauteuil roulant à accoudoirs ou encore assise à même le sol. Cette table comprend un plateau de travail ou de service qui est destiné à venir se placer horizontalement au-dessus des cuisses de la personne dans la position assise précitée, et deux accoudoirs disposés d'un côté et de l'autre du plateau de travail ou service. Sont raccordées latéralement au plateau deux parties latérales (3) respectives se prolongeant du côté d'installation de la personne, ces parties latérales (3) formant des retours vers le bas si l'on considère la position d'installation aptes à venir se placer de part et d'autre de la personne assise et étant agencées pour former, en surface supérieure, les accoudoirs de la table individuelle, et, à leur base, un appui stable sur la surface de l'assise du canapé ou similaire, sur les accoudoirs du fauteuil ou fauteuil roulant ou sur le sol selon l'emplacement où la personne est assise, la taille de la personne assise étant enfermée par la partie plateau et par les parties latérales de la table individuelle.
