ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An indole derivative of the formula Image wherein A - represents alkyl having up to 12 carbons, which is unsubstituted or substituted by cycloalkyl having 3 to 8 carbon atoms, halogen, hydroxyl, carboxyl, cyano, alkoxy or alkoxycarbonyl, each having up to 10 carbons or by -CO-NH-SO2-R1, in which R1 - denotes C6-C10-, which is unsubstituted or monosubstituted to trisubstituted identically or differently by carboxyl, halogen, cyano, nitro or by alkyl, alkoxy or alkoxycarbonyl, each having up to 10 carbon atoms, or by C6-C10-, or by a 5- to 7-membered saturated or unsaturated heterocycle having up to 4 hetero atoms from the series comprising nitrogen, sulphur or oxygen, which are in turn monosubstituted to tetrasubstituted identically or differently by carboxyl, alkyl, alkylthio, alkoxy or alkoxy- carbonyl, each having up to 10 carbons, or by -NH-R2, Le A 26 897 in which R2 _ denotes hydrogen, alkyl or acyl, each having up to 8 carbons, B - represents alkyl, alkenyl or alkinyl having 12 to 18 carbons, which is unsubstituted or substituted by halogen, mercapto, straight-chain or branched alkoxy, acyl or alkoxycarbonyl each having up to 10 carbons or by C6-C10-aryl, which may in turn be monosubstituted to tetrasubstituted identically or differently by halogen, nitro, cyano, carboxyl, hydroxyl or by Image , in which X and Y are identical or different, oxygen or sulphur, or a direct bond, n - denotes a number 1 to 6 and R3 - denotes C1-C6-, which is unsubstituted or substituted by hydroxyl, carboxyl, nitro, cyano, halogen or by alkyl, acyl, alkoxy or alkoxy- carbonyl, each having up to 10 carbon atoms, or B - represents C1-C6- aryl, which is unsubstituted or monosubstituted to trisub- stituted identically or differently by halogen, nitro, hydroxyl or by Image , Le A 26 897 in which X, Y, R3 and n have the abovementioned meanings, D, E, F and G are identical or different and represent _ hydrogen, halogen, cyano, hydroxyl or caboxyl, _ alkyl, alkoxy, alkoxycarbonyl or acyl each having up to 10 carbons or represent cycloalkyl having 3 to 8 carbons, - a 5- to 7-membered saturated or unsaturated heterocycle having up to 4 hetero atoms from the series comprising nitrogen, sulphur or oxygen, or - Image , in which R1 has the abovementioned meaning, and physiologically acceptable salts thereof.
