A compound which is a 2-(1H-indol-2-yl)-5[(2H-pyrrol-2-ylidene)methyl]-1H- pyrrole of formula (I), wherein each of R1, R2, R3 and R4 independently represents hydrogen, C1-C6 alkyl, halogen, cyano, nitro, hydroxy, C1-C6 alkoxy unsubstituted or substituted by phenyl, C1-C6 alkyl-carbonyloxy or amino; R5 represents halogen, hydroxy or C1-C11 alkoxy unsubstituted or substituted by phenyl; and R6 represents hydrogen, C2-C20 alkanoyl, C3-C20 alkenoyl, phenyl, C1-C20 alkyl or C2-C20 alkenyl, wherein the alkanoyl, alkenoyl and alkyl groups are unsubstituted or substituted; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, is useful as immunomodulating agent and for treating adult-T-cell leukemia-lymphoma.
L'invention concerne un composé qui est un 2-(1H-indol-2-yl)-5[(2H-pyrrol-2-ylidène)méthyl]-1H-pyrrole représenté par la formule (I), où R1, R2, R3 et R4 sont chacun indépendamment un hydrogène, alkyle en C¿1?-C¿6?, halogène, cyano, nitro, hydroxy, alcoxy en C¿1?-C¿6 ?non substitué ou substitué par un phényle, alkylcarbonyloxy en C¿1?-C¿6 ?ou amino; R5 est halogène, hydroxy ou alcoxy en C¿1?-C¿11? non substitué ou substitué par un phényle; et R6 est hydrogène, alcanoyle en C¿2?-C¿20?, alcénoyle en C¿3?-C¿20?, phényle,¿ ?alkyle en¿ ?C¿1?-C¿20? ou alcényle en C¿2?-C¿20?, où les groupes alcanoyle, alcénoyle et alkyle sont non substitués ou substitués; ledit composé ou un de ses sels pharmaceutiquement acceptables sert d'immunomodulateur et permet de traiter la leucémie-lymphomie à cellules T de l'adulte.
