An indoor air quality sen- sor designed to be utilized in a zone of a building to control the ventilation of the zone and the method of effecting such con- trol. The sensor (10) comprises a first sensor (10) for sensing a selected leading indicator of contamination in the zone and providing an output signal rep- resentative thereof and at least one additional sensor (10) for sensing at least one selected sec- ondary indicator of contamina- tion in the zone and providing an output signal representative thereof. A processor, utilized for generating an output signal representative of the indoor air quality in the zone, receives the output signals from the first sen- sor (10) and the least one ad- ditional sensor (10) and gener- ates the output signal represen- tative of the indoor air quality in the zone by influencing the out- put of the first sensor (10) by an amount that is a function of the output signal of the least one ad- ditional sensor (10).
Capteur de mesure de la qualité de l'air intérieur conçu pour être utilisé dans une zone d'un bâtiment et surveiller la ventilation dans cette zone, et procédé permettant d'effectuer cette surveillance. Le capteur (10) consiste en un premier capteur (10) qui détecte un premier indicateur sélectionné de la contamination dans la zone, et génère un signal de sortie représentatif de cet indicateur, et au moins un deuxième capteur (10) qui détecte au moins un deuxième indicateur sélectionné de la contamination dans la zone et génère un signal de sortie représentatif de ce dernier. Un processeur utilisé pour générer un signal de sortie représentatif de la qualité de l'air situé à l'intérieur de la zone reçoit les signaux de sortie générés par le premier capteur (10) et le ou les deuxièmes capteurs (10), et génère le signal de sortie représentatif de la qualité de l'air interne dans la zone en pondérant la sortie du premier capteur (10) d'une quantité établie en fonction du signal de sortie du deuxième capteur (10).
