The invention concerns a novel regulating COMTII promoter sequence inducible in response to a mechanical or chemical injury, or in response to aggression by a pathogenic agent, in particular bacterial, fungal or viral, or by an insect or a threadworm. The invention also concerns a chimera gene (or expression cassette) comprising the inventive regulating promoter sequence controlling the expression of a heterologous coding sequence and host organism comprising said chimera gene, the transformed plants containing it and the seeds of said transformed plants.
La présente invention concerne une nouvelle séquence de régulation promotrice COMTII inductible en réponse à une blessure, mécanique ou chimique, ou en réponse à une agression par un agent pathogène, notamment bactérien, fongique ou viral, ou par un insecte ou un nématode. Elle concerne également un gène chimère (ou cassette d'expression) comprenant la séquence de régulation promotrice selon l'invention qui contrôle l'expression d'une séquence codante hétérologue et un organisme hôte comprenant ledit gène chimère, les plantes transformées le comprenant et les semences (graines) desdites plantes transformées.
