There is disclosed a cancer malignancy diagnostic assay comprising obtaining a sample of a body fluid or tissue, performing a sequence identity assay to look for the presence of iPFK-2 specific sequences; an anticancer pharmaceutical composition comprising a specific antisense oligonucleotide to the inventive isolated iPFK-2 sequence and a pharmaceutically acceptable oligonucleotide carrier; and a method for finding therapeutically active anti-cancer compounds comprising screening compounds for activity to inhibit iPFK-2, preferably kinase activity.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de dosage permettant de diagnostiquer un cancer malin. Ce procédé consiste à obtenir un échantillon d'un fluide ou d'un tissu corporel, à réaliser un dosage d'identité de séquence pour rechercher la présence de séquences d'iPFK-2 spécifiques. L'invention a aussi pour objet une composition pharmaceutique anticancéreuse comprenant un oligonucléotide antisens spécifique par rapport à la séquence iPFK-2 isolée selon l'invention et un vecteur d'oligonucléotide pharmaceutiquement acceptable. L'invention concerne également un procédé permettant d'élaborer des composés anticancéreux thérapeutiquement actifs, consistant à détecter des composés afin de rechercher une activité permettant d'inhiber l'iPFK-2, et de préférence, l'activité de la kinase.
