An induction controlled voltage regulator, primarily for high voltage regulation, includes a magnetic circuit based upon a metallic core (1) having two or more flux paths or legs (2) with at least one main winding (3) supplying the output voltage (U). Furthermore the voltage regulator includes at least one magnetizable regulation leg (4) with a zone (5) of reduced permeability. The regulation leg is surrounded by a regulation winding (6) connected to a variable capacitor (8). At least one of said windings, or a part thereof, is wound by a high voltage cable comprising at least one current- carrying conductor surrounded by at least a first layer having semiconducting properties, a solid insulating layer and a second layer having semiconducting properties.
Ce régulateur de tension à induction commandée, essentiellement conçu pour une régulation de haute tension, comporte un circuit magnétique, articulé autour d'un noyau métallique (1), pourvu d'un ou de plusieurs trajets de flux ou branches (2) comportant au moins un enroulement principal (3) fournissant la tension de sortie (U). Ce régulateur de tension comporte, en outre, au moins une branche régulatrice magnétisable (4) comportant une zone (5) à perméabilité réduite. Cette branche régulatrice est entourée d'un enroulement régulateur (6) connecté à un condensateur variable (8). L'un au moins de ces enroulements ou encore une partie de l'un ou de l'autre, est réalisé au moyen d'un câble haute tension comprenant au moins un conducteur qu'encerclent au moins une première couche à capacité de semi-conducteur, une couche d'isolation à solide et une seconde couche à capacité de semi-conducteur.
