INDUCTION HEATER WITH A CRYOSTAT AND A COOLED BAFFLE Abstract of the Disclosure An induction heater comprises an induction coil positioned in a cryostat filled with a cryogenic coolant having a temperature in the range of from 15 to 120 K, a heat-insulating element going around the charge to be heated, and a cooled baffle interposed between the cryostat and the heat-insulating element, the induction coil being formed of a metal with chemical purity of 99.99 per cent, and at least a part of the cryostat being made of a di- electric material.
