The present invention relates to the induction of tolerance to antigens, by mucosal, preferably oral delivery of the antigen in combination with an immunomodulating compound producing micro-organism. More specifically, the invention relates to the induction of Foxp3+ and/or IL-10 and/or TGF-.beta. producing regulatory T-cells, capable of suppressing undesired immune responses toward an antigen, by oral delivery of said antigen in combination with an immunosuppressing cytokine secreting micro-organism.

La présente invention concerne l'induction d'une tolérance à des antigènes, par administration muqueuse, de préférence orale, à un antigène en combinaison avec un microorganisme produisant un composé immunomodulateur. Plus spécifiquement, l'invention concerne l'induction de lymphocytes T régulateurs produisant Foxp3+ et/ou IL-10 et/ou TGF-.beta., capable de supprimer des réponses immunitaires indésirables contre un antigène, par administration orale dudit antigène en combinaison avec un microorganisme sécrétant une cytokine immunosuppresseuse.
