An industrial process for the heterogeneously catalytic gas-phase oxidation of propane with molecular oxygen to form acroleine in which, starting with a molar reactant ratio of the propane to the O2 in the undiluted state in the gas mixture fed in of 7:3, said gas mixture is diluted with the reactant propane and possibly inert gases so that the gas mixture fed in has more than 70 vol % propane and at least 5 vol % O2.
L'invention concerne un procédé industriel pour oxyder en phase gazeuse du propane en acroléine, avec de l'oxygène moléculaire, par catalyse hétérogène. Selon ce procédé, à partir d'un rapport molaire des réactifs non dilués, propane:O¿2? dans le mélange gazeux chargé, de 7:3, on dilue le mélange gazeux chargé avec le réactif propane et éventuellement des gaz inertes de sorte que le mélange gazeux chargé présente plus de 70 % en volume de propane et au moins 5 % en volume d'O¿2?.
