There is described an industrial robot with a new configuration including an arm rotatably mounted around a first vertical axis on a fixed body, a second body rotatably mounted around a second vertical axis below said arm, a parallelogram linkage rotatably mounted around a third horizontal axis on the second body and a wrist carried by the parallelogram linkage and articulated around two mutually orthogonal axes.

Cette invention concerne un robot industriel de configuration nouvelle comprenant un bras rotatif tournant autour d'un premier axe vertical d'un corps fixe, un second corps tournant autour d'un deuxième axe vertical situé sous le bras, un parallélogramme de commande tournant autour d'un troisième axe, horizontal celui-là, et un poignet monté sur ledit parallélogramme et articulé autour de deux axes perpendiculaires l'un à l'autre.
