"In the course of building roads and other major earth excavations, it is known that erecting geo-textile fabric in front of running water will filter the silt and larger earthen particles from the water downstream from the fabric. In this invention two slats or a single stake of material will be provided on which geo-textile fabric will be attached at regular intervals. The slats will then attach to a reusable stake or the fabric may be attached directly to the single disposable stake. By providing these slat and stake combinations, the slats and fabric will be removable from the silt and the stakes will be reusable; or the disposable stake and fabric may be removed and discarded."
