ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The filter elements, each of which is made of a rectangular plate member bent almost along the center line, are arranged in a row at specified intervals. A plurality of rows of filter elements are arranged along a passage of the dust-laden fluid at specified intervals. Of the filters arranged in multiple rows, those in odd- numbered rows and the others in even-numbered rows have their bent portions or apexes arranged in opposite direc- tions. The apexes of the filters in the even numbered rows are staggered in lateral direction from the apexes of the filters in the odd-numbered rows.
