INFLATABLE AIR PUMP AND METHOD FOR MAKING AN AIR PUMP Abstract of the Disclosure An air pump includes a number of inflatable chambers forming a closed container which defines a pumping chamber. The container is fitted with one-way inlet and outlet valves to effectuate the pumping operation. In one embodiment, the container is cylindrical with seven to nine longitudinal air chambers forming the walls of the chamber. The ends of the cylindrical container are fitted with the inlet and outlet valves. Also disclosed is a method of making and of using such a pump.
