An inflatable boat is disclosed which comprises a pair of inflatable pontoons (14) with a hull (12) joining the two pontoons. Along the lower face of each pontoon there is a connector (18) for releasably securing a rigid hollow stabiliser (16) to the pontoon. The connector (18) is elongate and, in section, includes a narrow portion (22) and a wider portion (24) along the free edge of the portion (22). The stabiliser comprises a hollow elongate body of fibreglass or other synthetic plastics materials with a groove (26) running along its top surface for receiving the connector (18). The stabiliser (16) is slid onto the connector (18) from the front of the pontoon towards the rear (arrow 42), and the groove (26) terminates shortof the front end of the stabiliser (16).
