Abstract of the Disclosure Inflatable boat of self-supporting construction having a Canadian type or canoe-shaped hull, includes carrier tubes forming sides of the boat, an inflatable bottom connected to the carrier tubes on the underside of the boat, each of the carrier tubes having a tube-like shape with rounded ends forming a widened end portion, the carrier tubes being joined together at their widened end portions mutually forming V-shaped edges at the bow and stern of the boat, at least one I-beam-shaped longitudinal member disposed at each widened end portion, the width of the members being less than the diameter of the carrier tubes.
