- 15 - INFLATABLE HATCH COVER ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An inflatable hatch cover operable to at least partially close the opening of a hatch on a cargo or commodity carrying vessel thereby to prevent contamination by rainfall. In its deflated position, the hatch cover is mounted to the edge of the hatch opening. It is then inflated and extends outwardly and over the opening to a position where the hatch opening is partially closed and where loading may be visually observed. SPECS/WES8649.01
