ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An inflatable delta wing kite having a single air chamber formed of a bulbous nose portion and three frusto conical shaped tubular portions forming structural beams, one beam extending along the central longitudinal axis, and the other two forming the leading edges of the kite, the terminal end of the central beam forming a filler tube. Generally triangularly shaped, uninflated sections forming airfoils are located between the central and edge beams. The kite has a laterally extending string attaching means which is located at the flying point of the kite aft of the mid- point of the longitudinal axis, and the string attaching means has a plurality of string locations. A pendulum-like gravity stabilizer is attached to the terminal end of the central beam. A method for fabricating the kite is also disclosed.
