INFLATABLE LINER FOR PARTICULATE BULK CARGO RECEPTACLES ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An inflatable liner for mounting within a hopper type receptacle or container 1 which receives and discharges flowable bulk particulate material. The liner is comprised of one or more inflatable members such as inflatable fabric bags 12 or tubular members 12a loosely supported by sling members 10 or 10a respectively at spaced locations along the interior surface of the walls 3 of the container 1 in such manner that each inflatable member 10 or 10a is capable of limited multi- directional movement with respect to the adjacent container wall and a flexible wear resistant cover sheet 5 loosely covering the wall 3 and the inflatable members 12 or 12a. The slings 10 or 10a may be attached to either the container wall 3 or to the bottom side of the cover sheet 5. Alternate inflatable members 12 or 12a are inflated and deflated in any desired sequence to cause the cover sheet 5 to undulate and thereby set up a continuous cyclic wave motion which serves to maintain the continuous flow of particulate material through the container 1.
