- 11 - INFLATABLE PILLOW ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE When lying prone on a cushion or pillow, as in sunbathing or the like, breathing is difficult and it is a strain on the neck muscles to have the head rotated at approximately 90° to the longtitudinal axis of the body. The invention consists of a pair of separately inflatable cells of flexible plastic material separated by a heat- sealed junction and having a nose aperture at the centre of the junction line. The curvature of the lower panels of the two cells away from the junction line when inflat- ed, forms a transverse air channel to the aperture from the edges of the pillow so that easy breathing is readily maintained. The pillow may of course be used for other purposes.
