A speaker assembly (100) is provided including a rigid front speaker mounting element (102) defining at least one speaker mounting opening (103), at least one speaker driver (104) coupled to the at least one speaker mounting opening (103) of the speaker mounting element (102), at least one flexible bladder (106) at least partially forming the sides and rear of the enclosure and coupled to the speaker mounting element (102), and a valve (108) coupled to the flexible bladder (106). The flexible bladder (108) has a first wall portion (110) and a second wall portion (112) defining a substantally air- tight interior space (114) therebetween and may take any desired shape when inflated. Together, the speaker mounting element (102) and the bladder (106) form at least one interior chamber (116) at least partially surrounding the speaker driver (104). The valve (108), which provides a substantially air- tight seal when closed, is in fluid communication with the interior space of the flexible bladder (106) and can be used for inflation and deflation of the bladder (106). The bladder (106) is inflatable by providing either pressurized gas or expandable foam within the interior space. Alternatively, the bladder may be formed as a plurality of independently inflatable cells, or may be evacuatably-formed from a material having shape retaining memory properties. After use, the bladder (106) enclosure may be removed from the speaker mounting elemet (102), and deflated for reuse, or disposed of.
La présente invention concerne un ensemble haut-parleur (100) constitué par un élément de montage (102) de haut-parleur en façade rigide formant au moins une ouverture de montage (103) de haut-parleur, au moins un circuit d'attaque (104) de haut-parleur couplé à l'ouverture de montage (103) de haut-parleur de l'élément de montage (102) de haut-parleur, au moins une poche flexible (106) formant au moins en partie les côtés et l'arrière de l'enceinte et couplée à l'élément de montage (102) de haut-parleur, et une valve (108) couplée à la poche flexible (106). La poche flexible (108) qui présente une partie première paroi (110) et une partie seconde paroi (112), entre lesquelles est formé un espace intérieur (114) sensiblement étanche, peut prendre la forme que l'on souhaite lorsqu'elle est gonflée. L'élément de montage (102) de haut-parleur et la poche (106) forment ensemble au moins une chambre intérieure (116) entourant au moins en partie le circuit d'attaque (104) du haut-parleur. La valve (108), qui fournit une barrière sensiblement étanche à l'air lorsqu'elle est fermée, est en communication fluidique avec l'espace intérieur de la poche flexible (106) et peut être utilisée pour gonfler ou dégonfler la poche (106). On peut gonfler cette poche (106) avec du gaz sous pression ou de la mousse expansible dans l'espace intérieur. Dans une variante, on peut fabriquer la poche sous forme d'une pluralité de cellules gonflables individuellement, ou la former par évacuation à partir d'un matériau possédant des propriétés de mémoire de forme. Après utilisation, on peut enlever l'enceinte de la poche (106) de l'élément de montage (102) du haut-parleur, la dégonfler pour une utilisation ultérieure, ou la jeter.
