Désenclenché par le levier (20) du mécanisme ( 22 ) , le crochet ( 23 ) , entraîné par un chariot (26) soumis à la traction des ressorts (27) , tire sur les cordons (28 et 29) des boitiers (10) de percussion des bouteilles de gaz (12) . Puis, sous la traction d'un ressort (25), le crochet se soulève libérant les cordons dont le décrochage est facilité par une rampe de butée (30) . Par leur recul, les deux fourches de l'axe du chariot (31) libèrent alors Les mousquetons (35) des sangles (34). Le dispositif selon l`invention est particulièrement destiné à empêcher, sur l' eau, 1`immersion du naufragé et, en montagne, l' ensevelissement par les avalanches.
