A B S T R A C T An inflatable tent comprises a floor and upper members all made from an inflatable material which has structural elements connecting an inner and outer wall defining a plurality of compartments for containing air and providing the inflated material with a substantially uniform thick- ness. The floor and upper members are separately inflat- able with the floor having a puncture resistant ground contacting surface. The upper members are joined and sealed together and are joined and sealed to the floor to form a self-supporting enclosure when inflated having a door to enable ready access into the tent.
