ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An information carrying band is made of propypropylene material and comprises at its first end an adhesive portion so that its second end can be adhered onto this adhesive portion to encircle an object to which the carried information is related. The adhesive portion has at least one cut therein to prevent separation of the two ends of the band without tearing the same. This adhesive portion advantageously comprises an adhesive tab extending laterally of the band, folded over the band, and formed with linear and semicircular cuts therein. A sheet-like lamination in which information carrying bands of the above described type are cut is also provided.
