By assigning different functions to respective dots of a dot pattern when obtaining information from the dot pattern, it is possible to recognize the directionality and rapidly obtain information as well as to check an error of the dot arrangement state, thereby further enhancing security. A plurality of grid dots are arranged in a rectangular shape as a block. Blocks are regularly and continuously arranged. A grid dot contained in the block of the grid dots arranged in the rectangular shape and shifted in a predetermined direction is used as a key code. The key code serves as a representative point and a center surrounded by four-point grid dots and arranged in the periphery of the key dot is made a virtual point. At an end point of a direction vector starting at the virtual point, a plurality of information dots for recognizing various information are arranged according to a predetermined rule, thereby creating a dot pattern. The dot pattern is acquired as image data by a camera and digitized to obtain a numeric value, from which information and program are output.

Ce motif de points est acquis sous forme de données image par une caméra et numérisé de façon à obtenir une valeur numérique, à partir de laquelle des informations et un programme sont sorties.
