An information processing apparatus improving operationality. In an information processing apparatus through which a TV program can be viewed and heard and which can be connected to the Internet, on an index panel (1) for selecting various functions, a channel button (2) is displayed for operating when selecting a program to be viewed and heard. Moreover, on the index panel (1), together with the channel button (2), there are displayed a site button (71) operated when accessing site A on the Internet and a site button (72) operated when accessing site B . The present invention can be applied to an information processing apparatus such as a personal computer through which a TV program can be viewed and heard and which can be connected to the Internet.

L'invention concerne un appareil de traitement d'information améliorant son fonctionnement. Un programme télévisé peut être visualisé et entendu par l'intermédiaire de l'appareil de traitement d'information et une connexion à Internet est assurée. Sur un panneau d'indice (1) on peut sélectionner différentes fonctions, alors qu'un bouton de chaîne (2) est affiché afin de sélectionner un programme à visualiser et écouter. Par ailleurs, sur le panneau (1), et grâce au bouton de chaîne (2), apparaissent un bouton de site (71) permettant d'accéder au "site A" sur Internet et un bouton de site (72) permettant d'accéder au "site B". L'invention trouve une application sur un appareil de traitement d'information, notamment un ordinateur personnel à travers lequel on peut visualiser et écouter un programme télévisé et susceptible d'être connecté à Internet.
