An information recording apparatus capable of recording information on a recording medium in such a way that it is possible to prevent that a representative image is improperly displayed to a user and the user improperly recognize moving picture information. A reproduction list PL is recorded on an optical disc (1) and together with this is recorded a reproduction list display inhibit flag PHF indicating whether to limit display of the representative image indicating the content of the reproduction list PL.
L'invention porte sur un appareil enregistrant des d'informations sur un support d'enregistrement d'informations de manière à prévenir la présentation incorrecte d'une image à un utilisateur et la reconnaissance incorrecte par l'utilisateur d'une information sur une image animée. A cet effet, on enregistre sur un disque optique (1) une liste de reproduction (PL) ainsi qu'un drapeau (PHF) inhibant la présentation de la liste de reproduction et indiquant s'il faut ou non limiter la présentation de l'image représentative indiquant le contenu de ladite liste (PL).
