Information is recorded on an information recording medium including a partition by the following manner. Predetermined information is recorded on at least the partition of the recording medium. It is confirmed whether the predetermined information has been normally recorded or not. When the predetermined information is not normally recorded, rerecording is executed. After the predetermined information was normally recorded, dummy data is recorded on the remaining region other than a region on which the predetermined information has been recorded so as to eliminate an unoccupied region in the partition so as to eliminate a vacant region of the partition. The dummy data is a specific character train, a periodic repetition of data, a specific character, or continuation of data.

Une fois qu'elles ont été enregistré normalement, des données fictives sont enregistrées dans la région où elles n'ont pas été enregistrées pour éliminer toute région inoccupée dans le segment. Ces données fictives sont constituées d'un train de caractères particulier, d'une répétition périodique de données, d'un caractère particulier ou d'une suite de données.
