A system for atmospheric transmission (102, 600) of information subject to fading for a time interval using a radio frequency carrier (106, 616) modulated with a subcarrier (Figs. 7A and B) provides a first encoded information stream (Fig. 8) and a second encoded information stream (Fig. 8) being delayed by a time delay interval (Fig. 7) with respect to the first information stream which is equal to or greater than the time intend of the atmospheric fading and an encoder. The first and second encoded information streams modulate the subcarrier to produce identical first and second parallel information streams modulated on cycles of the subcarrier. Receiving circuit (Fig. 23) receives the parallel information streams and has a detector for detecting transmitted streams and at least one processor, responsive to the detected parallel information streams, for determining if faded information is present in at least one of the detected streams and in response to determined faded information replacing faded information with information which is time offset.
Un système de transmission atmosphérique (102, 600) d'informations pouvant subir un évanouissement sur un intervalle de temps fait appel à une porteuse radioélectrique (106, 616) modulée par une sous-porteuse (figs. 7A et B) et génère un premier courant d'informations codées (fig. 8) et un second courant d'informations codées (fig. 8) différé par un intervalle de temps (fig. 7) par rapport au premier courant d'informations, ledit intervalle étant égal ou supérieur à l'intervalle de temps de l'évanouissement atmosphérique. Le système comprend d'autre part un codeur. Les premier et second courants d'informations codées modulent la sous-porteuse afin de générer des premier et second courants identiques d'informations parallèles modulés sur des cycles de la sous-porteuse. Un circuit récepteur (fig. 23) reçoit les courants d'informations parallèles et possède un détecteur qui détecte les courants transmis et au moins un processeur, sensible aux courants d'informations parallèles détectés, permettant de déterminer si des informations évanouies sont présentes dans au moins un des courants détectés et, en réponse à la détection d'informations évanouies, de remplacer les informations évanouies par des informations qui sont décalées dans le temps.
