ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Sheets of a polymer of methyl methacrylate and, if desired, one or more further copolymerisable mono- mers, the said sheets being in the form of transparent or translucent constructional units and having dis- persed therein laminar particles serving to reflect infra-red radiation wherein the laminar planes of the said particles are at least partially aligned parallel to the adjacent planar surface of the sheet and the thickness of the particles (normal to the said laminar plane) is in accordance with the equation d = (0.2 to 0.43) ? wherein d is the thickness of the particles in µm and n is the refractive index of the said polymer (for infra-red radiation having 8 wavelength of 800-1500nm).
