A radiant heating system (30) is provided which includes a tube (34) for radiating heat, and which has a vacuum pump (40) which is coupled to an upstream end thereof, for establishing negative pressure therein. A plurality of burner assemblies (32) is mounted in series along a length of the tube, for igniting a combustible gas mixture which is within the tube (34). A metering element (90) is provided for controlling the firing rate of the burner assemblies (32) under various negative pressure conditions.

L'invention concerne un système de chauffage (30) à rayonnement. Ce système comprend un tube (34) pour chaleur rayonnante, qui comporte une pompe à vide (40) qui est couplée à une extrémité amont de cette dernière, pour établir une pression négative dans ce système. Plusieurs ensembles de brûleurs (32) sont fixés en série le long d'une longueur de tubes, pour allumer un mélange de gaz combustible qui se situe dans le tube (34). Un élément de mesure (90) est prévu pour contrôler le taux de combustion des brûleurs (32) dans diverses conditions de pression négative.
