An infusion container (1) having an interior (2) for receiving a liquid to be infused and an infusible substance. Mounted to the container is a pivotal member (9) which cooperates with a baffle means (12) to define a region (15) in the container which receives the infusible substance. Both the pivotal member and baffle means are adapted to permit passage of the infusing liquid, but not of the infusible substance. In use, the pivotal member can be pivoted through the interior (2) by moving handle (11), to lift the infusible substance out of the infusing liquid to halt the infusion process at the desired time.

Cette invention concerne un infusoir (1) ayant un espace intérieur (2) destiné au liquide d'infusion et à une substance que l'on fait infuser. Sur le récipient est monté un élément pivotant (9) qui coopère avec un organe déflecteur (12) pour définir une région (15) du récipient destinée à recevoir la substance à infuser. L'élément pivotant et l'organe déflecteur sont tous deux conçus pour permettre le passage du liquide d'infusion, mais pas celui de la substance qui infuse. En cours d'utilisation, il est possible de faire pivoter l'élément pivotant à travers l'espace intérieur (2) en déplaçant une poignée (11), pour soulever la substance qui infuse et la sortir du liquide d'infusion de manière à arrêter le processus d'infusion à l'instant désiré.
