This invention is an infusion device (10) with a disposable administration set (12) having a plurality of elongated cam followers (42), which are displaced in a predetermined sequence and forced against a delivery tube (36) when depressed by a pumping mechanism (64). The infusion device (10) includes an optical sensor made up of a light emitter (127) and a light detector (129). The optical sensor is responsive to dimensional changes in the delivery tube (36) for sensing upstream occlusions, downstream occlusions and the presence of an air bubble within the delivery tube (36).
L'invention a pour objet un dispositif de perfusion (10) dont l'ensemble d'administration (12) est jetable. Ce dispositif comporte une pluralité de contre-cames allongées (42) dont le mouvement, respectant un ordre préétabli, fait qu'elles agissent contre un tube d'administration (36) lorsqu'elles subissent une pression exercée par un mécanisme de pompage (64). Ce dispositif de perfusion (10) inclut une sonde optique constituée d'un photoémetteur (127) et d'un photodétecteur (129). La sonde optique réagit aux modifications des dimensions du tube d'administration (36) de façon à détecter des occlusions amont, les occlusions aval et la présence de bulles d'air dans le tube d'administration (36).
