The packet envelope (4) is formed from a doubled-over web (4') which gives the packet a folded-over edge (6) and which encloses an intermediate portion (16) of the thread close to the folded-over edge. The end portions (22) of the thread extend from the intermediate portion of the thread to extend through the opposite edge (10) of the packet. The external ends of the thread are secured to a tag (28) which is attached to the outer face of the envelope. The thread intermediate portion is retained closed to said one edge by heat seal means. Apparatus is also described for producing the packets in a continuous or semi-continuous manner.
Des sachets (2) contenant une matière coulante sont pourvus d'une ficelle ou fil (14) pour resserrer leur contenu. L'enveloppe (4) du sachet est formée d'une bande pliée (4') qui forme un bord replié (6) du sachet et qui renferme une partie intermédiaire (16) du fil tout près du bord replié. Les parties terminales (22) du fil s'étendent depuis la partie intermédiaire du fil pour traverser les bords opposés (10) du sachet. Les extrémités terminales du fil sont fixées à une étiquette (8), elle-même fixée à la face externe de l'enveloppe. La partie intermédiaire du fil est retenue tout près d'un bord par un élément de thermo-soudage. L'invention concerne également un appareil conçu pour produire les sachets de manière continue ou semi-continue.
