A cooking spatula containing a spatula body; an ingredient feeding cap pivotally attached to the spatula body; and an internal controlling component, which allows the user to control the movement of the cap from the handle section of the spatula. The cap component has a close position and an open position, and is able to transform between the two positions by pivotally moving along the pivot points on the spatula body where the cap is attached. At close position, the cap and the spatula head together forms a pocket for holding the cooking ingredients. When switch the cap to open position, the cap release the ingredients into the cooking device such as a wok for cooking; and at open position, the cap would acts as a cover which stops any splashing activity from splashing over the cap.
