An inhaler for administering medicament by inhalation and a method of manufacturing a housing of the same, the inhaler including a housing formed as a single-piece moulding having a first portion (18) which, in normal use, comes into contact with medicament and the mouth or nose of a user through which medicament is inhaled and a second portion (20) which defines at least part of the outer surface of the housing and, in normal use, does not come into contact with medicament or the mouth or nose of a user through which medicament is inhaled, wherein the material constitution of at least part of the second portion (20) defining at least part of the outer surface of the housing is different to the material constitution of the first portion (18).

L'invention concerne un inhalateur permettant d'administrer un médicament par inhalation et un procédé de production d'un boîtier pour cet inhalateur. L'inhalateur comprend un boîtier se présentant sous forme d'élément moulé d'une seule pièce et composé d'une première section (18) et d'une deuxième section (20). En usage normal, la première section (18) vient en contact avec le médicament et la bouche ou le nez d'un utilisateur, par laquelle/lequel le médicament est inhalé. La deuxième section (20) définit au moins partiellement la surface extérieure du boîtier. En usage normal, elle ne vient pas en contact avec le médicament, la bouche ou le nez, par laquelle/lequel le médicament est inhalé. Le matériau au moins d'une partie de la deuxième section (20) définissant au moins partiellement la surface extérieure du boîtier, est différent du matériau de la première section (18).
