An inhalation device for inhalation of a pharmaceutically active substance comprising means for generating a negative pressure or vacuum and means for housing an inhaler within said device, said device comprising a constant volume and a variable volume in fluid connection with each other, said negative pressure or vacuum being generated in the constant volume through the variation of the volume in the variable volume whereby the substance is moved from said inhaler and dispersed in said constant volume, a flow regulating valve for regulating the flow of substance to the constant volume and a channelled region surrounding an outlet in said contant volume to prevent substance leaving said outlet when not in a dispersed state.
Appareil pour inhalation destiné à l'inhalation d'une substance pharmaceutiquement active, qui comprend un système permettant de générer une pression négative ou le vide, et un système permettant de loger un inhalateur à l'intérieur dudit appareil. Celui-ci comprend un volume constant et un volume variable en communication fluidique l'un avec l'autre. La pression négative ou le vide est généré dans le volume constant par la variation du volume à l'intérieur du volume variable, la substance étant amenée de l'inhalateur et dispersée dans le volume constant. Un clapet régulateur de flux permet de réguler le flux de substance amené dans le volume constant. Une région percée d'un canal et entourant un orifice pratiqué dans le volume constant empêche la substance de passer par l'orifice quand elle n'est pas dans un état dispersé.
