A device for the treatment of bronchial disorders in horses by inhalation therapy comprising an inhalation spacer (1) with a first (5) and a second (10) opening, an activatable drug atomizer (7) which can be connected with the first opening (5) of the inhalation spacer, and connecting means (11, 14) comprising a hopper-shaped part (13) which at the hopper opening has such size as to be able to cover one of the horse's nostrils, and a valve arrangement comprising two one-way valves (16, 18), one of which (16) allows influx of inhalation air from the inhalation spacer into the hopper- shaped part (14) of the connecting means (11, 14), and the other allows outflux of exhalation air from the hopper-shaped part (14) to the surroundings, and where the inhalation spacer (1) has at least one additional opening (8) with an appertaining one-way valve (9) which allows influx of air from the surroundings into the interior (4) of the inhalation spacer (1).
L'invention concerne un dispositif pour le traitement de troubles bronchiques chez les chevaux au moyen d'une inhalothérapie comprenant une chambre d'inhalation (1) dotée d'une première (5) et d'une seconde (10) ouverture, un pulvérisateur de médicament actionnable (7) pouvant être relié à la première ouverture (5) de la chambre d'inhalation, et des moyens de liaison (11, 14) comprenant une partie en forme de trémie (13), l'ouverture de la trémie étant suffisamment grande pour couvrir une des narine du cheval, et un ensemble de clapet comprenant deux clapets anti-reflux (16, 18), l'un d'eux (16) permettant l'afflux de l'air d'inhalation de la chambre d'inhalation dans la partie en forme de trémie (14) des moyens de liaison (11, 14), et l'autre permettant le reflux de l'air d'exhalation de la partie en forme de trémie (14) dans les environs. Selon l'invention, la chambre d'inhalation (1) comporte au moins une ouverture supplémentaire (8) dotée d'un clapet anti-reflux (9) afférents permettant l'influx d'air des environs dans (4) la chambre d'inhalation (1).
