Disposable inhaler comprising a tubular housing forming an air flow path being open at both ends, one end forming an air inlet and one end forming an air outlet, said housing comprising a compartment for storing a pharmaceutically active substance to be inhaled, said compartment being placed in the air flow path close to the air inlet, wherein the powder compartment is formed as a cavity or indent in a plate and placed in the housing in the air flow path. According to the invention there is also provided a method of manufacturing the inhaler as well as a use of the inhaler.

Inhalateur jetable se constituant d'un boîtier tubulaire définissant un cheminement pour l'écoulement de l'air qui est ouvert aux deux extrémités. Une extrémité forme l'entrée d'air et l'autre forme la sortie d'air. Le boîtier comporte un compartiment de stockage de la substance pharmaceutiquement active à inhaler. Ce compartiment est placé dans le chemin d'écoulement de l'air, à proximité de l'entrée d'air. Le compartiment à poudre revêt la forme d'une cavité ou d'une encoche dans une plaque; il est placé à l'intérieur du boîtier, dans le chemin d'écoulement de l'air. L'invention porte également sur le procédé de réalisation de cet inhalateur ainsi que sur son mode d'utilisation.
