This invention is an inhaler providing surface topology (202, 204) for minimizing the area of contact between the medicament (107) and the surfaces of the inhaler. The surfaces are preferably made of a material having a low surface energy, and more preferably, also having, when uncharged, no substantial van der Waals or electrostatic interaction with the medicament. Furthermore, the material is preferably substantially chemically unreactive with the medicament.

L'invention concerne un inhalateur ayant une topologie de surface (202, 204) qui permet de réduire au minimum la zone de contact entre le médicament (107) et les surfaces de l'inhalateur. Les surfaces sont faites de préférence avec un matériau qui possède une énergie de surface peu élevée; en outre, lorsqu'un tel matériau n'est pas chargé, il n'existe pas de force de Van der Waals ou d'interaction électrostatique sensibles entre le matériau et le médicament. De plus, ledit matériau est sensiblement inerte vis-à-vis du médicament sur le plan chimique.
