Disclosed herein is a method for inhibiting the premature polymerization of ethylenically unsaturated monomers comprising adding to said monomers an effective amount of an inhibitor having structural formula (I) wherein R1 and R4 are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, alkyl, and heteroatom- substituted alkyl and R2 and R3 are independently selected from the group consisting of alkyl and heteroatom-substituted alkyl and the portion (II) represents the atoms necessary to form a five-, or six-,seven-membered heterocyclic ring, at least one of said atoms being a carbon atom substituted with a primary, secondary, or tertiary amino group.
L'invention concerne un procédé destiné à inhiber la polymérisation prématurée de monomères à insaturation éthylénique consistant à ajouter auxdits monomères une dose efficace d'un inhibiteur ayant la formule structurelle (I) dans laquelle R1 et R4 sont choisis indépendamment dans le groupe contenant hydrogène, alkyle, et alkyle à substitution d'hétéroatome, et R2 et R3 sont choisis indépendamment dans le groupe contenant alkyle et alkyle à substitution d'hétéroatome, et la partie (II) représente les atomes nécessaires pour former un cycle hétérocylique à cinq, six ou sept éléments, au moins un des dix atomes étant un atome de carbone substitué par un groupe amino primaire, secondaire ou tertiaire.
