A method of controlling the deposition of silica-containing scales and their adhesion to surfaces in contact with an aqueous system is disclosed which comprises adding to the aqueous system a synergistic combination of: (a) diethylenetriamine penta methylene phosphonic acid; and (b) a material selected from the group consisting of 2 phosphonobutane-1,2,4-tricarboxylic acid; high molecular weight, 3:1, acrylic acid/allylhydroxy-propylsulfonate ether copolymer; ethylene oxide-propylene oxide block copolymers; and polyepoxysuccinic acid and salts thereof.
L'invention concerne un procédé éliminant le dépôt de tartre contenant de la silice et son adhésion à des surfaces au contact d'un système aqueux consistant à ajouter au système aqueux une combinaison synergique: (a) de l'acide diéthylènetriamine pentaméthylène phosphonique; et (b) d'une matière choisie dans le groupe comprenant l'acide de phosphonobutane-1,2,4-tricarboxylique, un copolymère de masse moléculaire élevée, 3:1, acide acrylique/allylhydroxypropylsulfonate éther; des copolymères séquencés d'oxyde d'éthylène-oxyde de propylène et des acides polyépoxysuccinique et leurs sels.
