The present invention comprises a non-needle injector (2) having the following components: a non-needle syringe (126) installed in the injector (2) for holding medication prior to injection, the syringe (126) including an injection aperture (20) at the forward end thereof; a syringe plunger (130) slidable mounted to the rear end of the syringe (126) for forcing medication out the syringe aperture (20); a cartridge pressure control system (14) providing power to drive the syringe plunger (130), and thereby force medication out of the syringe (126); and a syringe control system (18) for controlling the activation of the syringe, the syringe control system (18) including a warning system which warns the user if a pre-injection condition is not met, an interlock system which prevents injection from taking place if the pre-injection condition is not met, and a sensing system which senses whether the pre- injection condition is not met, and conveys a signal to the warning and interlock systems informing as to whether the pre-injection condition is met.

La présente invention concerne un injecteur (2) sans aiguille constitué de plusieurs éléments constitutifs. Enfin, le système de détection détecte si des conditions préalables à l'injection ne sont pas satisfaites, et adresse aux systèmes d'alarme et d'interblocage un signal les avertissant dès qu'une des conditions préalables à l'injection n'est pas satisfaite.
