The injection mold for insert-molding a synthetic material around the edge of a filter material comprising at least one particle filter layer and at least one active carbon layer of active carbon particles, is provided with a first mold half (28) and a second mold half (30) which comprise mutually confronting mold walls (32, 34). In their assembled state, the two mold halves (28, 30) define a receiving space (36) for the filter material (12), a molding space (42) for accommodating the edge (14) of the filter material (12) and for forming the synthetic material (74) to be arranged by insert molding around the edge (14) of the filter material (12), with at least one injection channel (44) entering the molding space (42), and a transition space (38) arranged between the receiving space (36) and the molding space (42) for accommodating the edge portion (40) of the filter material (12) adjacent the edge (14) of the filter material (12). The transition space (38) is formed with a constricted portion (46) for preventing the leakage of synthetic material (74) from the molding space (42) into the receiving space (36). The constricted portion (46) comprises at least two narrowed portions (60) with a widened portion (62) arranged therebetween, the distance of the mold walls (32, 34) of the two mold halves (28, 30) being smaller in the narrowed portions (60) than in the widened portion (62). The two narrowed portions (60) and the widened portion (62) are arranged respectively transversely to that direction of the transition space (38) which is oriented between the molding space (42) and the receiving space (36).
La présente invention concerne un moule pour le moulage par insertion d'un matériau synthétique autour du rebord d'un matériau filtrant comportant au moins une couche de filtre à particules et au moins une couche de charbon actif à particules de charbon actif, pourvu d'un premier demi-moule (28) et d'un second demi-moule (30) qui comportent des parois de moulage (32, 34) face-à-face. En assemblage, les deux demi-moules (28, 30) définissent un espace de réception (36) du matériau filtrant (12), un espace de moulage (42) pour loger le rebord (14) du matériau filtrant (12) et pour former le matériau synthétique (74) à être disposé à l'aide d'un moulage par insertion autour du rebord (14) du matériau filtrant (12), avec au moins un canal d'injection (44) pénétrant dans l'espace de moulage (42), et un espace de transition (38) disposé entre l'espace de réception (36) et l'espace de moulage (42) pour loger la partie (40) du rebord du matériau filtrant (12) jouxtant le rebord (14) du matériau filtrant (12). L'espace de transition (38) est formé d'une partie restreinte (46) pour empêcher l'écoulement du matériau synthétique (74) de l'espace de moulage (42) vers l'espace de réception (36). La partie restreinte (46) comprend au moins deux portions rétrécies (60) avec une portion élargie (62) disposée entre celles-ci, la distance entre les deux parois de moulage (32, 34) des deux demi-moules (28, 30) étant inférieure dans les portions rétrécies (60) à celle se trouvant dans la portion élargie (62). Les deux portions rétrécies (60) et la portion élargie (62) sont respectivement disposées transversalement par rapport au sens de l'espace de transition (38) qui est orienté entre l'espace de moulage (42) et l'espace de réception (36).
