ABSTRACT INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE FOR PROCESSING SYNTHETIC MATERIALS The synthetic material can be injected into the mold carrier, which can be selectively mounted with injecting molds, by means of a injection molding unit shiftable in horizontal di- rection transversely with respect to the injection axis. When shifting the injection molding unit the ending sections of the drive unit are received in guidings and the injection molding unit is beared by first rods disposed into injection direction and sliding freely on second rods transversely dis- posed with respect to a injection axis. That is how a exact measurement in a cost-saving and simple way is achieved, especia??y necessary under high forces.
